The Single
After covering Huey Lewis and the News’ ‘The Power of Love’ last Christmas, this year the team decided to up their game and write an original song. Matt Rider (the teams primary school age lead practitioner) rose to the challenge and wrote/produced ‘Miracle Day’. It all started with a cup of tea, a hum, followed by the words “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas.”
With a little Christmas inspiration, Matt created the start of ‘Miracle Day’. The song is all about creating and following your own path which hopefully inspires listeners to think about a day when their issue is no longer a problem to them. The song explores change, and what will be happening on this miracle day? The creation of the song was inspired by various solution focused tools the team use in their everyday practice. The song promotes positive mental wellbeing, taking back control of our next steps and ultimately – Miracles Can Happen.
